About Beijing Show and Go!

Beijing Show and Go! is a new idea in travel guides for people who don't know the local language. The idea is simple: just show the book's page that has what you're looking for to a cabdriver, hotel clerk, or someone on the street. They'll point the way, you'll find what you need, and—who knows?—you may start a new friendship!

The Show and Go!™ guidebooks have been designed to help promote understanding between peoples of different cultural backgrounds in a simple, easy-to-use, and fun way. With these books, the first barrier of communication with people in different countries—language—now melts away, with positive, engaging interaction between both parties.

We came up this idea while getting together with a couple of friends who are frequent travelers. Adam himself is an IT consultant and a frequent traveler. Song is a Chinese-English language professional from Beijing, China. Together we have spent a significant amount of time carefully selecting the phrases and the information in the book for busy travelers. The book came out in 2008.

In April 2010, arrived is Shanghai Show and Go!, the 2nd pocketbook in the Show and Go!™ collection travel guide. Many improvements were made to the book. For example, each page has both English and Chinese with the Mandarin pronunciation, Pinyin, which shows the user how to actually say the Chinese words! And, from this compacted book, you will find how to use Shanghai transportation (bus, subway, train, taxi) and favorite Shanghai dishes. Please check it out more at www.iShowandGo.com.

Both Beijing Show and Go! and Shanghai Show and Go! are published by White Song Books. You can order them at www.WhiteSongBooks.com, or at local or online stores listed there.
